In June all the ladies from the Bennetts office will be donning their running shoes to take part in Race for Life for Cancer Research UK.
Tracey, Clare, June, Zoe, Sue, Laura and Rosie, have all decided to run the event together to raise money and Bennetts will match the amount they raise to double to final figure.
Everyone knows someone who has been affected by cancer either directly or indirectly, and that is the same for all of us at Bennetts. Each of us has had family or friends suffer from this disease, some have even battled it themselves (and won!). With this in mind we will run for all the friends and family members we know who have either survived or passed away.
Already, we have raised over £500 (which Bennetts will make £1,000) but we’d like to raise even more. If you’d like to make a donation, visit the Bennetts Cancer Research donation page, and you can choose who you’d like to sponsor and how much.
It doesn’t really matter who you sponsor, as the money is all going to the same cause (although secretly between the team there is a bit of competition for who can raise the most).
The Race for Life takes place in Gloucester on June 10th.
