Specialist tower crane hire and sale business Bennetts has revealed a major re-brand of the company.
At the same time as the re-brand, the company celebrates being listed in both the Financial Times FT1000: Europe’s Fastest Growing Businesses, released this month, and the Fast Growth 50 South West ranking.
These milestones, which put Bennetts alongside not just some of the biggest and fastest growing companies in the South West but across Europe, take into account the financial growth of the company over the last three years.
Bennetts, based in Gloucestershire, specialises in the hire and sale of tower cranes to the residential and commercial construction industry throughout the UK, concentrating mainly in the south of England.
The business has seen rapid growth over the last three years. The directors put this down to a mix of good trading conditions, a focus on the residential building market which remains buoyant, significant investment in new innovative crane models to meet the ever changing needs of the industry, together with delivering a high level of customer service to their clients.
In line with the growth, the directors instructed a major branding agency to update and refresh the Bennett’s brand, which has included a new logo, website, internal and external marketing collateral and social media.
Managing Director Edward Seager says the re-brand has been ‘transformational’ and is part of an on-going drive for innovation, growth and improvement across the business.
“Over the last three to four years we have seen rapid growth and we have been focused on the delivery of our service and building our fleet of cranes,” he said.
“However, this year we wanted to make sure the appearance of our brand matched the business success and status. The construction industry, and crane hire sector in particular, has been slow to keep up with trends in modern marketing and branding, but that is starting to change. We know that to stay competitive we need to look at every aspect of our business – our company re-brand is just one part of that.”
Seager added; “For us it’s not just about giving a professional look, the re-brand goes much deeper into the ethos of the business. It has made us look at our processes, our internal communications and the messages we give our customers and the wider industry. We know that our equipment, people and service is high quality, but we need to let people know that – this re-brand supports that. We certainly feel we are now well-placed for the next decade ahead and we’re focused on continuing our growth and strengthening our brand.”
The FT1000 list is put together in conjunction with Statista and charts the top 1000 companies in Europe that have achieved the highest percentage growth in revenues between 2013 and 2016. Tens of thousands of businesses are entered and checked every year before the final ranked list is revealed.
The Fast Growth 50 South West ranking had similar criteria in terms of three-year revenue growth, and it put Bennetts amongst major South West brands and businesses. The team attended an awards evening at Ashton Gate Stadium in Bristol, hosted by Countdown host and former Apprentice star Nick Hewer.
